EGYPTIAN PYRAMIDS
Before we talk about
the famous pyramids of Egypt, lets think a little about the meaning of the term 'Pyramid'. The pyramid was closely related to the pharaonic civilization that witnessed the construction of the pyramids in the past, and which sparked controversy and imagination among scholars and explorers. The pyramid has a base that may be triangular, square, or five. The pyramid is a geometric shape, and its area is calculated by calculating the side area of the pyramid's surface, and calculating the circumference of the base according to its shape.
B- THE FAMOUS PYRAMIDS OF EGYPT?
1- Pyramid of Unas:
The Pyramid of Unas is significant because it was the first of its kind to include what is now known as Pyramid Texts. the Pyramid of Unas was discovered by Western explorers in the 19th century.Unas pyramid was built between the complexes of Sekhemket and Djoser, in North Saqqara.
2- Pyramid of Bent:
The Bent pyramid is the pyramid which designed by Pharaoh Senefru in Dahshur, at the southern end of the Memphis Cemetery. This Cemetery is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The pyramid of Bent regarded as the first smooth pyramid in Egypt. it was constructed first as a small pyramid. after, the smooth sides were added to it.
